I would have, but Col does not allow any cat images or paraphernalia in or anywhere near our house.
and to help him get over that, i'm sending a big envelope of cat hair to him for his next birthday... but don't tell him. i want it to be a surprise.
The worst is baby clothes with little pink cats... and cat hair, that is pretty bad too.
I am actually writing a book on the many reasons we all should hate cats.
It should be up on my StoryTime website soon.
I agree with you Col, I am NOT big on cats either. They are lazy and stuck up!
freedom of speach will allow you to write such a thing, however, I would prefer if you would use a pen name as i would not like to be affiliated with it. While I do enjoy your writing I dont enjoy the "Carter" inhumanity towards cats.
Who said anything about the Carter boys shooting stray cats with B.B. guns?
I am afraid it is not just the boys that are against cats. I also am allergic, so I do have a more legitimate excuse.
Whay should we all hate cats?
Allergies. That is reason number 21. There are too many to list here, you will just have to read my book when it is complete.
I tell people that I am allergic to them so I don't have to exlain my underlying general dislike for them. It is so much easier, and then people don't think I am a total cat hater.
Robyn--the voice of sanity...it all started too many years ago to count with Carl and his cat hating bros...be allergic if you must, you're all missing out!

Being married to someone who is allergic to cats, and myself being in posession of not one, but three of said creatures, I have the authority to say this: your hatred can be overcome. Before we were married David as VERY wary about having any cats and the thought of not being able to breathe in his own home. However, he got used to the cats VERY quickly and I have a harder time breathing than he does.
Secondly, He LOVES them. It took a couple months, but he does all the stupid cute things with them that I do: he chases them, he hugs them and talks to them in silly voices.
Col just THINKS he hates cats.
Oh, and I guess this means you guys will never be visiting our home now, huh?
