Col usually cleans out Addie's nose. He charts out a strategic plan of attack, and then goes at it, completing in record time with a minimal amount of resistance from the victim. Such was not the case this morning. The following is the interpretation of Adeline's screams when I tried to clean out her nose:
"I want daddy to do it!"
"Daddy's at work, honey. Mommy has to do it today."
"No! Daddy needs to do it!"
"I'm sorry, honey. Daddy's not here."
"No! No! No! I don't want you to do it! I want daddy!"
"This will just take a minute, I promise."
"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!"
